Spanish Moss

Spanish moss, or Tillandsia usneoides, is an epiphytic plant that resembles moss or lichen in appearance. This plant does not require soil – it takes the moisture and nutrients it needs directly from the air. Spanish moss brings lightness and natural aesthetics to a space, and it is excellent for hanging or as part of a plant wall.

Care instructions:

• Lighting: Bright, indirect light is best. Avoid direct sunlight.

• Watering: Mist the plant generously 2–4 times a week or soak it in water for about 20–30 minutes once a week. Allow to dry completely before the next watering.

• Humidity: High humidity supports the plant's well-being – especially a good choice for bathroom or other more humid space decor.

• Temperature: Thrives best between 15–30 °C. Protect from cold and drafts.

• Nutrients: You can spray a fertilizer solution intended for air plants once a month during the growing season (spring–summer).
